Heyy's Child Safety Policy

At Heyy, we are absolutely committed to safeguarding minors from harm. Breaking our rules meant to protect anyone under 18 can result in complete removal from our platform and maybe even the involvement of law enforcement.

Policy

Age Verification:

  • Users must be at least 18 years old to use Heyy.
  • False age representation to access the platform is strictly forbidden.
  • Your age can be changed by Heyy Team when it is believed that you created an account with a false age.
Heyy uses a combination of AI content recognition tools and manual checks to monitor for signs of underage use and Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSEA) on the app. Any attempts to circumvent these controls are strictly against our policy. This includes, but not limited to, certain actions that are specifically prohibited.

Sexualization of Minors and CSAE (Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation)

  • Creating, sharing, or spreading material related to child sexual abuse or exploitation is prohibited.
  • Content that involves the sexual fetishization of minors, such as discussions, sexualized role-playing, or donning provocative clothing, is not allowed.
  • Any depiction of child nudity or sexualization, even in the form of artistic representations like drawings or animations, is strictly off-limits.

Harmful or Dangerous Actions Involving Minors

  • Threats, endorsement, or acts of physical abuse towards minors.
  • Psychological mistreatment, coercion, or manipulation of minors.
  • Displaying or promoting hazardous activities with minors.
  • Advocating or showing neglect or trafficking of minors.

Underage Presence on the Platform

  • Minors appearing in chats, videos, or any other content form is strictly not allowed.
  • Making or handling accounts on behalf of underage individuals.
  • Attempts at age falsification to gain platform access.

Reporting Mechanism

  • Cases of minor abuse will be reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or other relevant authorities in accordance with the law.
  • Users can flag potential issues using the app's reporting feature or by reaching out to us at service@heyy.tv.

Prohibited Users

  • Users convicted of crimes against children, including but not limited to sexual assault, physical abuse, neglect, or trafficking, are strictly prohibited from using Heyy.

Enforcement and Transparency

  • Any violations of the Child Safety Policy will lead to immediate account suspension.
  • Depending on the seriousness of the violation, Heyy may partner with law enforcement agencies for investigative purposes.

User Education

  • We inform users about child safety via the Child Safety Policy on our platform.
  • To prevent risky situations, we provide prompts and reminders during the process of content creation and sharing.
